Studying at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology

The Department of Dermatology and Venereology provides a 5 ECTS credit course on dermatology and venereology in English for exchange students from  Erasmus/Socrates partner universities of University of Turku. The goal of the course is to learn to identify and treat the most common dermatological and venereal diseases, in order to be able to work as a general practitioner.

Undergraduate studies in dermatology and venereology

The course takes place in spring term, during March and April and maximum of five exchange students are accepted. Teaching is given in groups of 8-10 students, and consists of  theoretical studies in internet and in the group, and practical training.

Specialist training can only be given to doctors licensed to practice medicine in Finland.
