Simulation teaching

Simulation teaching promotes multidisciplinarity and develops clinical skills, as well as many of the skills needed in a doctor's job, such as decision-making, communication, leadership and teamwork.

Realistic simulation rooms are used to practice the real-life activities of an emergency room, inpatient ward, emergency department, intensive care unit, home care, paediatric care or delivery room. Learners will form multi-professional teams responsible for the overall care of the patient, making them familiar with the different stages of the care chain. Simulation teaching is well suited to teaching clinical skills, decision-making, communication, leadership and teamwork. Simulation increases patient safety!
