Teaching

Currently, I am teaching the courses Materials engineering I and III. I am also actively developing the courses on laboratory exercises in materials engineering.

Research

My research is focused on thin films made of new materials used in magnetism,  superconductivity and energy applications (e.g. solar cells). Novel materials having a perovskite structure are currently a hot topic in all the mentioned research fields. I am also interested in improving the different thin film deposition and structural characterization methods used in the research. One of the core problems that my research is aiming to solve is the question of replacing the existing state of the art materials with options that are non-toxic and rare-earth free.
