Biography

Kaapo Seppälä is working as a Project Manager in the Department of Computer Science. SInce 2011, he has been actively involved in fileds of IT entrepreneurship, innovation and Technology Transfer. Mr. Seppälä is the Entrepreneurship Ambassador of the faculty and he lectures about the entrepreneuship-related topics also outside the Department.

Teaching

Mr. Seppälä is currently teaching in three courses:

Software Engineering Capstone course (two courses per year, 10ECTS), DTEK0088

Lean PLatform Business Design (DTEK2037) and

Mixed Reality (TKO8960).

In addition he acts as a supervisor regarding Bachelor theses that represent thematic area sthat are close to his research and teaching interests.

Research

Kaapo Seppälä's research interests lie mainly in research areas of Mixed Reality and Maritime ICT but he has also published research articles about University-Business Collaboration and Technology transfer.
