In the "Dance languages!" project, we created a video-based teaching material for early language education : https://sites.uniarts.fi/en/web/ellaresearchproject/kieli%C3%A4-tanssien-
The material is openly available in Finnish and Swedish.
Research
My doctoral research project aims to develop pedagogical practices that integrate language and dance in the context of early language education. The resarch is based on the project Dansa språk! / Kieliä tanssien!["Dance languages!"; 2019-2022], which was funded by The Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland and The Society of Swedish Literature in Finland (SLS).
In 2021-2022, I work as grant researcher in the research project "Embodied Language Learning through the Arts" (ELLA, 2021-2024), funded by Kone Foundation and led by professor Eeva Anttila (University of Arts Helsinki). This multidisciplinary research project focuses on how embodiment, artistic activity and language are intertwined: https://www.uniarts.fi/en/projects/embodied-language-learning-through-the-arts-ella/
