Projects (as coordinator)

Finland’s ministry of the environment (Government Key Project) project: “The Nutrient Recycle in the resorts of Turku Archipelago”– food waste pilot in the Baltic Sea. Target groups: tourists, sailors and the restaurants in the key resorts. Project coordinator and director. Budget: 192 829 €, project partner Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association (2016-2019).

Ministry of the Environment project: “Less waste, more recycling (food waste)”- project at the campus of Turku University. Target group: students, food service (horeca). The aim: prevent food waste and recycle the nutrients (composting) of bio-waste by urban farming. Project coordinator and director, budget 133 092 €. (2015 – 2016).                 

The EU Regional Development Fund/Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, project “Soiled AgriPlastic Waste - collecting and recycling” (LiMuKe). Project coordinator and director. Budget: 269 211 €, project partners Project partners Häme and Turku Applied Sciences (2016-2018).

Agency for Rural Affairs project: “Close local food value chain and social capital”. Project coordinator and project leader. Budget: 243 952 €, project partners HAMK and JAMK.(2015- 2016).
