In my thesis I reseach the control policy of Finnish Detective Central Police/State Police and women suspected of high treason between 1919 and 1944. I explore what control meant in practice in the everyday life of state police surveillance, and how the gender of women suspected of state and treasonable offences influenced everyday surveillance.
