Biography

I am a researcher at Turku Intelligent and Embeded Robotic System(TIERS), Department of Computing, University of Turku.

I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Fudan University in 2016 and 2018 separately. I am pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the University of Turku from October 2019. My interests include sensor fusion, SLAM, and object tracking.

Teaching

I have been active in teaching since early of my Ph.D. period. I have partipated several course as lectuer from since 2020, Hardware Accelerators for Robotics and AI(2021,2022), Perception and Navigation in Robotics(2020,2021), Robotics and Autonomous Systems(2021).

Research

My research focuses on how to let robots better understand the environment based on advanced sensors, such as 3D LiDAR, cameras. Simultaneous localization and Mapping is one of my research interests, I have explored state-of-art SLAM algorithms in both man-made and unstructured environments as well as tasks like efficient localization, place recognition, and loop closure detection. Furthermore, I also put my research on optimization  methods development to efficiently solve optimal optimization in robotic control and scene understanding area.
