Marie S. Curie PF Kick-start Virtual Workshop May 2022

University of Turku (UTU) is searching for talented researchers of any nationality interested in working at UTU and preparing a collaborative Marie S. Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship application with a committed supervising professor. We provide an opportunity for applicants to attend the Marie S. Curie PF Kick-start virtual workshop with their to-be UTU supervisors.

Researchers are invited to apply together with their supervisors for the virtual workshop. Successful applicants hold a PhD degree and are in their post-doctoral phase (max. 8 years from PhD). There are no nationality restrictions, but because of the MSCA PF mobility rule, the applicant must not have resided in Finland for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the call deadline (14 September 2022). The host should be a professor or docentship level researcher.

The Research Funding unit will assist the applicant and the supervisor with the MSCA PF application. While the researcher and the supervisor will write and design the research plan, the Research Funding unit helps with the technicalities of the application, and provides intensive guidance and writing tips.

The researcher should fill in the application form by the 6 April 2022 together with

  • a CV + list of publications
  • preliminary abstract of the research plan
  • a short description on how the applicant would benefit from the cooperation with the UTU host

For further information, please contact researchfunding@utu.fi.
