By Long-Distance Buses

In Finland, you can travel by bus anywhere. Ranging with different bus companies, the prices are competitive. You can pay a bus ticket directly from the bus company's own website, when you enter the bus, or through Matkahuolto's website, where all the bus connections can be found.
It is always cheaper to buy your ticket well in advance and online.

Often foreign and international student cards do not entitle you to get the student discount in buses. Please check your eligibility for student discount in buses here and how to get an eligible student card for the long-distance transportation (trains and buses) here.
