Students Solved Real-Life Challenges on Design Thinking Course – Winning Team’s Solution Addressed Drug Waste in Hospitals
A project funded by the Nordplus programme, Design thinking in health technology education – Design Future Health – GREAT received continuation to the course held online last spring as the week-long intensive course GREAT Design Thinking was finished successfully. To finish off the week, the students had the opportunity to present their own, design-thinking based solutions to real-life challenges.

The tool helps healthcare professionals secure practices of parent participation and collaboration into normal practice habits in everyday work.

University of Turku Coordinates Development of Nurse Educator Education in Europe
The Department of Nursing Science at the University of Turku has received almost EUR 400,000 in EU funding for research and development of European nurse educator education. In addition to Finland, Spain, Germany, Malta, Scotland, and Slovakia will take part in the project. From Finland, also the University of Eastern Finland is a partner.
