Yoop.fi is a new web tool that aims to support students in taking advantage of the entrepreneurship competence acquired outside formal education and integrate it into their degrees. The web tool has been developed in co-operation between Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences in a national higher education development project coordinated by the University of Turku.

Professor Ulla Hytti has been appointed as a Research Editor for ‘Entrepreneurship Education & Pedagogy’ from beginning of January 2021.

A research conducted by the University of Eastern Finland and the University of Turku reveals that the academic leaders of Finnish universities have a favourable attitude towards promoting entrepreneurship in universities as part of the social impact of universities. Notably, the universities are searching for direction in this field. On the other hand, lack of multiple views and common discussion is perceived as a challenge.

Professor Martina Battisti from the University of Portsmouth will visit the entrepreneurship unit from 9th March until 15th April.

Dr Allan Discua Cruz will visit Entrepreneurship department on 6th March and will give a presentation: Entrepreneurial narratives of the family (in) business (time 14:00-16:00, TSE Yhdistys).
