Last week, 20–21 April 2023, the University of Turku co-hosted the second transnational meeting of AIIS – Artificial Intelligence, Innovation & Society project with Turku University of Applied Sciences. Almost twenty participants were on site and a few members of the consortium participated online.
The international Life Science Live event will gather medical and health care research communities and the business world to Finland in May. The cutting edge event will be arranged in the Turku Fair Center and keynote speakers include e.g. Karen Madden, Vice President of Perkin Elmer; Andrew Fried, Director of global Life Science Industry at IBM; and Dipak Kalra, President of the European Institute for Innovation through Health Data organisation.
As technology develops, the relationship between humans and machines sparks new discussion. The seminar AI Ethics: Dialogue Between Europe and East Asia, organised at the University of Turku, focused on the future of artificial intelligence and robotics.
