The University Collegiate Council selected for the term 1 January 2022–31 December 2025 met for the first time on 14 January 2022. In the organising meeting, the members of the Collegiate Council unanimously selected Professor Juha Peltonen as the chair.

The members of the University Board and University Collegiate Council representing the University’s professors, other teaching and research personnel, and other personnel were elected in the University elections of the autumn. The University Collegiate Council earlier selected the members not representing the University’s personnel or students in the University Board. The Student Union selected the representatives of students for both administrative bodies.
