Higher education institutions of Turku collaborate on EU advocacy

University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences are now collaborating more closely in EU advocacy. The aim is to raise awareness of the higher education institutions’ top research and expertise areas within the European Union and promote their active role in key research networks and decision-making processes.

First joint sustainability event brought together experts from higher education institutions in Turku

The higher education institutions in Turku area, i.e. University of Turku, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Åbo Akademi University and Novia University of Applied Sciences, organised a joint sustainability event on 19 September 2023. Students, researchers and staff from all universities were invited to participate, discuss and learn about sustainability.

Combined effort of six European universities, the ENVISION_2027 Erasmus+ project had its final meeting in Turku on 30 May–1 June. The project focused on digital education in bioscience studies, addressing both the current need of transitioning from conventional classroom teaching into digital remote teaching, as well as improving the current status of online teaching and e-learning course modules across Europe.
