SEILI VIRUS-CELL INTERACTIONS 2018

General information

The 13th Seili Virus-Cell Interactions Symposium (also known as “The Seili meeting”) is a unique multidisciplinary scientific event dedicated to the current and future trends in virus-host interactions research. The main goal of the symposium is to create a strong collaborative network between Finnish virologists and outstanding international scientist.  Held in the suggestive Seili island in the Finnish archipelago, the symposium combines diverse disciplines including structural, biochemical, cellular and systems biological approaches, as well as immunology and applications in diagnostics and biomedicine.

Registration will be opened on June 25th.

This year's program will be announced in July 2018, when all the speakers have been confirmed.

This year's confirmed keynote speakers are:

The Seili Archipelago Research Institute is capable of accommodating up to 74 participants in its premises. Traditionally, the core participants are the leading scientists of Finnish molecular and clinical virology. Every year, we invite a selection of international speakers who lead cutting-edge research in different fields of life sciences. Talks will be 15 and 30 minutes. There will be no poster session but all participants will receive a printed hand-out containing the list of participants and their submitted talks, meeting program and other useful information.

Credits

Oral talks accepted. 1.5 ECTS for graduate students who participate actively (Faculty of Medicine, University of Turku).

A certificate of attendance can be released upon request if needed.
