Planning the Studies

The Stages of Study Planning

In Master’s degree studies, you can specialise in one of the fields within the degree programme. At this stage, the aim of the planning of the studies is already in the future working life. Discussions with the department’s student advisors as well as with the teaching and research staff can be helpful in the planning process. With the personal study plan, the student can ensure that the necessary knowhow and skills which are needed in the working life or doctoral training are attained.

A doctoral degree in different fields of biology can be attained by applying to a doctoral programme. On the doctoral degree level, the supervisor of the dissertation is responsible for the counselling of the doctoral candidates.
