The Structure and Schedule of the Studies

The curriculum guide is the curriculum of the department, which describes the objectives and requirements of the degree. Usually, the student completes the degree according to the curriculum that is published in the same year as the student has been selected to the degree programme. The contents of the degree are reviewed in the working group for education every two years and the degree requirements can differ between the curriculum guides in different years. The degree can also be completed according to a curriculum that has been published after the commencement of the studies.

The teaching schedule gives precise information about the course selection of the semester at the Department of Biology. The degree can also include studies at another department. The teaching of the minor study subject that the student has elected can be found in that department’s or unit’s teaching schedule. The schedule is constantly updated throughout the academic year.
