Valtteri Arstila7862lowres.jpgI am a senior research fellow at the Department of Philosophy and a collegium research fellow at Turku Institute of the Advanced Studies. Recent years I’ve been a fellow of Intercontinental Academia on “Time”, organized by University Based Institutes of Advanced Studies -network. My primary research areas are philosophy of mind, cognitive science and neuroscience, and metaphysics. My current research focuses on the timing of experiences and the theories of time consciousness, both topics at the intersection of philosophy of mind, theoretical psychology and cognitive neuroscience.
