There was a fire in the laboratory facilities of the BioCity building at Kupittaa on Wednesday morning, 13 March 2024.
A fire broke out in the laboratory facilities of the University of Turku in BioCity on Wednesday, 13 March 2024. The fire alarm was raised at half past nine and more than 20 rescue units arrived at the scene. The building was cleared of people and the fire was quickly extinguished.
