Biografia
Samuli Laato väitteli tohtoriksi vuonna 2021 Turun yliopistosta aiheenaan sijaintipohjaisten pelien suunnittelu. Väitöksensä jälkeen (2021-2024) hän työskenteli paikkatietoon perustuvien pelien ja luontoteknologioiden parissa Gamification Groupissa, Tampereen yliopistossa. Hänen tutkimusaiheensa liittyvät sekä ihmiskeskeiseen tietojenkäsittelyyn että tietojärjestelmätieteeseen."
