Grants and Scholarships Administrated by the University of Turku in 2025
Grants and scholarships for students and researchers (incl. doctoral researchers) registered at the University of Turku are distributed each year from the funds administrated by the University.
Scholarships 2025 are from the following funds:
University of Turku Student Scholarship Fund and
University of Turku Joint Student Scholarship Fund
These funds are primarily meant for degree students. The scholarships are based on the number of credits, success in the studies and time spent studying at the faculty in question. When granting the scholarships, priority can be given to applicants who did not receive a scholarship from the funds in question last year and who are still studying for their Master's degree when the application period ends. The sums that each fund admit in 2025 are listed in the pdf-file at bottom of the page. Each sum may be distributed as one or more scholarships.

University of Turku Research Grant Fund and
University of Turku Joint Research Grant Fund
These funds are primarily meant for doctoral researchers or researchers.

- The study right (degree) and the study right number must match each other. One can find this information in Peppi.
- On the scholarship form, the date when your studies begun is asked. This doesn't have to be the exact date, for example August 1st of that year is specific enough. Calendar can be clicked open from the calendar icon.
