Award Grant for Scientific Research on Applied Materials Chemistry (Application Period 13.8.2025-26.8.2025)

The Department of Chemistry awards a grant for scientific research.

An applicant should be well familiar with research on organic semiconductor materials as well as 2D materials and their characterization and application in either, energy devices or as catalysts.  Experience in electrochemistry is required, especially in energy applications. The applicant must have a PhD degree in chemistry.  

The grant is for 1.9.2025 – 31.5.2026.

The payment of the grant will be on monthly basis. The monthly sum is 2600 € and it will be paid during the grant period. A grant recipient must not, be employed by the University of Turku.

Decision on the grant will be made by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Mika Lastusaari at Professor Carita Kvarnström’s proposal during 27.8.2025 – 28.8.2025.
