Award Grant for Scientific Research on Applied Materials Chemistry (Application Period 14.4.2026-27.4.2026)

The Department of Chemistry opens a call for grant applications.

An applicant should be well familiar with research on organic semiconductor materials as well as 2D materials and their characterization and application in either, energy devices or as catalysts, and   in electrochemistry in energy applications. The applicant must have a PhD degree in chemistry.  
 

• The grant is for 1.6.2026 – 31.5.2027.
• Total sum is 34 800 € (12 months * 2900 €).

The payment of the grant will be on monthly from June 2026. The monthly sum is 2900 € and it will be paid during the grant period. A grant recipient must not, be employed by the University of Turku.

Decision on the grant will be made by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Mika Lastusaari at Professor Carita Kvarnström’s proposal during 28.4.2026 – 29.4.2026.

The application period is 14.4.26 – 27.4.26.
