Are you interested in eating competence and its relationship with health and wellbeing?
We are pleased to invite you to a seminar on Eating competence, organized in collaboration with the University of Eastern Finland and University of Turku. The seminar will take place on 4th June in Kuopio and remotely via zoom.
The seminar will feature Professor Barbara Lohse, a leading expert in the field, who has played a key role in validating the eating competence framework alongside Ellyn Satter.

Eating Competence is a Reasonable Adventure
In her lecture, Barbara will discuss what eating competence is - and what it is not. She will explain why it is important to study eating competence, how it can change over time, how it is traditionally measured. She will also introduce some new ideas for assessing eating competence.
