As a Master's Thesis worker in Materials Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Turku, I am continuing earlier research efforts to work with emerging materials within perovskites. These alternatives, known as Metal-Free Perovskites (MOPs), aim to provide environmentally friendlier alternative options for perovskites. My research relies on assessing these systems through mechanosynthesis and protonating commercially available precursors. My research is supported by Smart Energy Materials Research Group.
