Biography

I am a researcher in the Space Research Laboratory at UTU working in the field of Solar and Space Physics. My main research interest are radio emission, plasma processes and accelerated particles associated with coronal mass ejections (CMEs) from the Sun. Radio emission on the Sun is produced by fast electrons travelling at a fraction of the speed of light. Solar radio bursts are good indicators of where particles are accelerated during solar eruptions. Studying solar eruptions and associated fast particles are of major importance since these solar phenomena can impact the near-Earth space technology, polar routes aviation and even ground-based infrastructure.
