Saarinen

I have extensive experience in developing business simulations for learning and organizational development. My work connects academic research with practical applications, helping individuals and organizations explore complex business challenges through simulation-based learning. Recurring themes in my research include virtual teams and leadership, sustainability, and innovation. I am also actively involved in developing teaching practices, and my responsibilities include coordinating teaching delivered through the NWoW simulation.

A substantial part of my work is dedicated to my role as Programme Director of the TSE Partnership Programme. The programme connects companies’ and other organizations’ ambitions to develop more responsible business with the expertise and resources of academia. In this role, I promote collaboration between researchers and business practitioners to address shared sustainability challenges and create new business opportunities.

I lead and contribute to several research and development projects, with particular expertise in the commercialization of research-based innovations.
