Research
Thioredoxins are small enzymes that regulate a variety of cellular processes through reversible disulfide reduction. My research aims to elucidate how thioredoxins regulate photosynthetic electron transport in cyanobacteria.
I will begin my PhD in August 2026, focusing on investigating the role of thioredoxins in the regulation of extracellular electron transport (exoelectrogenesis).
