Biography
I am a doctoral researcher currently working on the SECUDEM project (Kone Foundation) at the Department of Philosophy, Contemporary History and Political Science. My research is focused on quantitative analysis of political attitudes and gender politics, with an emphasis on the United States.
Research
My research interests include gender politics, political attitudes and behavior, partisanship and civil rights issues. My dissertation discusses the crossing effects of partisanship and gender on political attitudes in the US. I utilize quantitative analysis to study how partisanship and elite cues shape gendered interests on issues like abortion. I'm also a part of the SECUDEM team that investigates securitization narratives' effects on democratic values and institutional trust.
