Biography

I am a Ph.D. researcher in the social research department at the INVEST Flagship Center funded by the Academy of Finland. I am interested in the labor market and the role of paid labor in building and maintaining welfare societies in the future. In my doctoral thesis, I study active labor policies targeted to youth in Finland and municipal factors affecting the career and education trajectories of youth, resulting in changes in NEET rates (proportion of youth not in employment or education).

Teaching

I have been teaching quantitative methods in social science.
