I am a doctoral researcher in computer science at the University of Turku (2023-). Prior to this, I graduated from the University of Turku with a Master of Philosophy degree. My research is multidisciplinary combining trans studies and game studies. In addition, I teach computer science courses at the university.

My dissertation deals with transgender experiences, representations, and creators in the field of video games. At the moment, I am particularly interested in the relationship between temporality, embodiment, and their digital representations in the work of transgender game developers and digital artists.
