Biography

I am a doctoral researcher in Materials Science and Engineering with interests in electrochemistry, advanced manufacturing, and data-driven materials design. A deep curiosity about the structure of materials and their interaction with the environment led me to pursue Materials Science and Engineering. Over time, my interests naturally evolved toward Electrochemistry, Advanced Manufacturing, and Corrosion Science, where fundamental principles translate into practical applications.

During my master’s studies, I focused on the synthesis and electrochemical characterization of self-healing coatings with outstanding properties and diverse applications. I later continued this path as a laboratory supervisor and research assistant, contributing to the development of advanced coatings for biomedical applications, additive manufacturing, and related simulation studies. The results of these efforts have been shared through peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations.

These formative research experiences led to my selection as a recipient of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Scholarship (MSCA) at the University of Turku. To pursue my doctoral research, I relocated from Iran to Finland, beginning a new scientific journey in an international and interdisciplinary environment. My PhD focuses on integrating artificial intelligence with experimental methodologies to enhance performance and accelerate discovery, with direct support from the Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Future (HAIF) initiative.
