Biography
I started my work as a senior researcher in Smart Enegry Materials lab., University of Turku from 2025. I defended my PhD on the topic of dye/quantum dot sensitized solar cells in University of Tehran in 2013. I was working as PostDoc researcher, lab manager, team leader, lecturer, and later assistant professor for 8 years in University of Tehran on the topics of dye/quantum dot sensitized solar cells, CIGS/CZTS solar cells, perovskite solar cells, photocatalysis, and photoelectrochemical water splitting. From 2021 till end of 2024, I was a Marie Curie fellow in PVLAB, EPFL, where I focused on the development of the triple junction perovskite/perovskite/silicon tandems and bifacial perovskite/silicon tandems.
Research
My research now focuses on stimuli-responsive supramolecular engineering of new classes of halide perovskites called layered double perovskites for energy and memory applications. With strong background on device physics and nanomaterials synthesis, design, and characterization, we aim to enhance the devices' performance, improve the stability, facilitate the large-area/large-scale fabrication process, and introduce new smart materials for different applications.
