Research

My research interests include digital intimacy, sexual ethics and sex education, and young people's intimate practices in digital media. I have published on childhood, youth, pornography and the sexualization debates in leading academic journals such as Childhood, Young and Sexualities. In addition, I am an author of Median seksisisällöt ja seksuaalikasvatus (2016) and I have co-edited a monograph on media education titled Monimuotoinen mediakasvatus.
