Research at the Finnish Centre for Astronomy with ESO (FINCA)

The research conducted at the Finnish Centre for Astronomy with ESO (FINCA) focuses on three large main fields of astronomy.

Operating at the University of Turku, FINCA is a national joint astronomy research centre of Aalto University, University of Helsinki, University of Oulu, and the University of Turku.

The research conducted at FINCA mainly concerns either the galaxies and cosmology or stellar astrophysics. Additionally, interstellar medium and star formation are studied at FINCA.
