Doctoral Programme on Drug Research and Diagnostics (3-4 yrs)

The doctoral programme comprehensively covers all stages of research related to drug development and the development of diagnostic methods, and the training is designed to meet the educational needs of these fields.

Doctors who have completed the programme are employed in research and leadership positions within pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, regulatory authorities overseeing pharmaceuticals and chemicals, and in academic research and teaching roles.

Doctoral researchers in the DRD programme complete their doctoral degrees in the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Science, or the Faculty of Technology.

Applications for doctoral study rights are open twice a year – in the spring and autumn. In the autumn application round, it is also possible to apply for a fixed-term, salaried doctoral researcher position.
