If your first language is Finnish or your proficiency in Finnish is at least at level B2, you can apply to become a degree student in Finnish language studies. Studying Finnish and Finno-Ugric languages develops the knowledge and skills needed, for example, by Finnish language teachers, journalists, communications officers, and linguists. The discipline educates interdisciplinary language professionals who can work as experts both in Finland and abroad.
If you have BA degree in Finnish language or Finno-Ugric language, you can apply to the Master's Degree Programme in Finnish and Other Finno-Ugric Languages. The Master's Programme is targeted at non-native speakers of Finnish who have specialised in Finnish and other Finno-Ugric Languages and have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Finland or abroad.
