Research Projects
2023–2025 Finnish Tax Administration, Research project on aggressive tax planning
Commissioned by the Finnish Tax Administration, we conducted a research project on aggressive tax planning, focusing on two main areas. The first part of the project examined aggressive tax planning and its connection to specific anti-avoidance rules (SAARs), as well as the limits imposed by EU law on these rules. The analysis was conducted particularly from the perspective of cross-border investment activities and asset management. The second part explored aggressive tax planning specifically from the viewpoints of corporate responsibility and tax reporting. More detailed information about the project is available here.
