UTU Annual of Science is a collection of popularised news and articles that are published in the university´s website in the year 2012.
The aim of the journal is to present the versatile research that is done in the University of Turku to the international public. Themes vary from augmented reality to bacteria.
In the opening words of the tablet Rector Kalervo Väänänen emphasizes the power of research. With multidisciplinary cooperation and open-minded exceeding of boundaries, we can find answers even to the big problems of the earth.
