University Lecturer Antti Miihkinen from the Department of Accounting has been awarded the title of Adjunct Professor (Docent) in Accounting by the University of Vaasa. His field of expertise is accounting, with a special focus on corporate voluntary and mandatory disclosures.
University Lecturer Antti Miihkinen from the Department of Accounting has been awarded the title of Adjunct Professor (Docent) in Accounting by the University of Vaasa. Miihkinen’s recent research has focused in particular on corporate risk reporting using Finnish, U.S., and Australian data. In addition, he has examined the relationship between board member characteristics and the tone of annual report disclosures, as well as topics related to accounting education.
At Turku School of Economics, Antti teaches at both bachelor’s and master’s levels and supervises a wide range of theses and doctoral dissertations, closely integrating his teaching with current research. He also participates in executive education.
Miihkinen currently serves as an associate editor of one international scientific journal and is a regular member of the editorial boards of two academic journals.
