Grant for research in atomic hydrogen group of the Wihuri Physical Laboratory (application period 3.6.2025-17.6.2025)

Wihuri Physical Laboratory opens a call for grant applications. The purpose of a grant is own scientific research in the field of a precision spectroscopy of cold hydrogen atoms. Grant period is 1.7.2025 – 31.12.2025.

Candidates should have experience of working with Low Temperature techniques, preferably familiar with the operation of the cryogenic electronics. A grant recipient must not be employed by the University of Turku.

•    Amount of the grant: 2100 eur/month
•    The application period is 03.06.- 17.06.2025

Decision on the grant will be made by the Head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Rami Vainio on Senior Research Fellow Sergey Vasiliev’s proposal by the end of June 2025.
