The MediCity Research Laboratory is currently accepting grant applications focused on scientific research in bacterial pathogenesis.
- Research Focus: Structure and function of fimbrial adhesins in Gram-negative bacteria, particularly those assembled via the chaperone-usher pathway.
- Essential Experience: Applicants should hold an M.S. or PhD degree and have extensive expertise in protein expression, protein–protein interaction studies, confocal microscopy, and cryo-electron microscopy grid preparation.
- Grant Period: May 1st, 2026 –October 30th, 2026 (5 months)
- Grant Amount: €2800 per month.
- Application Period: April 10th, 2025 – April 24th, 2026.

- Grant Period: July 1st, 2026 – December 31st, 2026 (6 months)
- Grant Amount: €2400 per month.
- Application Period: April 10th, 2025 – April 24th, 2026.
