Two exchange students who started their studies in the University of Turku in the autumn 2013 share their views about living and studying in Finland and especially in Turku in a new blog that can be found at the university’s website. French Camille and South Korean Haneul didn’t previously know each other but now they share a blog called Student life at the University of Turku.

Camille is a new French exchange student and she will stay for the whole academic year in Turku. She comes from Bordeaux, the famous city of wine. In Turku, she is studying sociology and politics.

– I expect this year to be really great. I am looking forward to meeting nice people, and having a lot of fun, Camille says.

Haneul comes from Seoul, the capital city of South Korea, where she was born in the year 1992. She arrived in Turku at the beginning of August.

- I chose Finland mainly in order to broaden my perspective toward European countries’, especially Scandinavian countries’, society, people and culture, Haneul says.

You can find the blog from the address https://blogit.utu.fi/studentlife/.From the website https://blogit.utu.fi/, you can also find other blogs including the Finnish blogs of Seida and Mikael, who are writing about their first year of studying.
