In my work, I interrogate geographies and temporalities of citizenship, refugeehood and undocumentedness and I pursue activist research methodologies.

Currently, I am finalising my PhD in human geography at the University of Turku, Finland, while working as project researcher in the project "Endings - refuge, time, and space" at the Migration Institute of Finland (funding: KONE Foundation;

Together with Leonardo Custódio, I am co-coordinator of the Activist Research Network ( I volunteer for the We See You association ( and for the project Every Woman's Centre (, both working for fairer immigration policies in Finland.
