Studying how matter interacts with radiation in extremely high magnetic fields by observing the process of mass accretion onto neutron stars. Timing and spectral analysis of the X-ray emission from these sources allows us to determine how the accretion disk around the neutron star interacts with the neutron star magnetosphere.
