Areas of expertise

At the moment, my research roams around various ludic extremes across and beyond media
from aesthetic, competitive, and sexual forms of play to behavioral, cognitive, and narrative dimensions of engagement in general. Anthropological, philosophical, and psychological approaches are making me happy in particular. Addiction debates, esports, and the cross-cultural mysteries of the human lifecycle (especially thru Asia and Korea) will keep me busy for a good while in the future as well.
