The Second Annual Workshop on Intersectoral Working: Contemporary leadership in different contexts
Second Workshop on Intersectoral Working
Friday 14 March 2025
Educarium 2, University of Turku Main Campus

As part of the EU-funded Turku Intersectoral Excellence Scheme (TIES), the Turku Institute for Advanced Studies of the University of Turku is holding a series of workshops on the theme of intersectoral working. Intersectoral meaning the coming together and interaction of academics working inside and outside of higher education.
We are now pleased to announce that the Second Workshop on Intersectoral Working will address the theme of Leadership. It will take place on Friday 14 March 2025 at the Educarium Building of the University of Turku.
We will explore leadership in different contexts such as the public sector, business, politics, sports, higher education and military. In our program, a seasoned leader from each context will share her/his views of leading and engaging people. By sharing experiences from different sectors, we aim to get a new, holistic and practical view of the dimensions and complexities of Leadership.
The event is free. Welcome!
