"Hello! I'm Manila Meem from Bangladesh, a first-year Master's student in Biosciences in Molecular Systems Biology track. I started my bachelor's educational endeavors by pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. During this journey of four years, targeted cancer therapy piqued my profound interest while doing my thesis project. However, to delve deeper into this field, I realized I need more knowledge of genetics and structural biology to design effective therapies. Hence, my path took me to the city of Turku in Finland, where I committed to pursue a master's degree at the University of Turku. This decision was based on the university's reputation and its focus on the very fields I am devoted to. The best part of living in Turku is that it is close to nature yet made sure not to be isolated from their urban identity. That makes you enjoy the best of both worlds.
