LOG: Writing French

Keywords: keystroke logging, ScriptLog

A dataset consisting of log files documenting the writing process of French. The corpora in the LOG project can be used to study how and in what kind of a process written text is formed, for example in what order parts of the text are written and how text is edited.

Two programs have been used in the data gathering, one of which deals with cognitive linguistics (SpriptLog) and the other with genetic linguistics (GenoGraphiX).

The dataset includes log files representing the writing process, finished texts, linear transcriptions, editing tables and graphs that visualise the process.
